A nice close by hotel is Residence Inn By Marriott Cincinnati Blue Ash; paddling on Horner Run is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Carter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is a good place for that, and if you need a location to stay Doubletree Guest Suites Cincinnati/Sharonville is a good choice. Life's too short to enjoy       all the fun stuff in close proximity to Carter Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Hamilton County Park District Sharon Woods Golf Course, and if you're stopping by from Cincinnati-Middletown, you won't be the only one. Carter Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is mostly the driest month. For the duration of the summer months at Carter Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight                  hours it's commonly in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Carter Lake descend into the 10's.
