Cactus Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is always a great experience, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cactus Lake; Southwoods Trail is a nice local trail. Man, is there a load of exciting things to do close to Cactus Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun
at Kingswood Golf Course, and Comfort Inn Northeast is a fine place to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Cactus Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the night is quite colder of course, generally in the 60's.
The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Cactus Lake are in the 10's.
