A splendid site to camp here at Brentwood Lake is Maples; a brilliant close by hotel is Elyria Howard Johnson Inn. At Brentwood Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Brentwood Lake fall into the 10's. Not enough hours in a day       to enjoy this location. A golf course in the neighborhood of Brentwood Lake is Brentwood Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Vermilion River. Willow Creek is a perfect local stream, and if you come at the right time of year, Rocky River - West Branch offers some pleasant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. The good people of Ashland like to hang out nearby, and camping is available at Camp wa-hoo                  Camping. Do check out Brentwood Lake Dam if you're here at Brentwood Lake, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Elyria is a brilliant choice.
