There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Vermilion River, and American Wilderness Campground is a glorious local campground. At Brentwood Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Brentwood Lake. Brentwood Lake gets       a normal amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls through June, and the driest month is January. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Elyria is a good choice, and Willow Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great planet it would be.
