While you're here at Bowers Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Huntington-Ashland; golf can be played at The Ironton Country Club. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bowers Lake. Bowers Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Jones Campground is a splendid local campground. All through the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Bowers Lake       while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Bowers Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
