Blue Pond is a good spot to camp, Countryside Camp Ground is a good spot, and the summit of Coal Hill can be observed from Blue Pond. The yearly precipitation here at Blue Pond is about average; most of the rain falls during May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Blue Pond, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, generally in the 50's. All through the wintertime       highs are mostly in the 30's while Blue Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little trip to Springfield Lake Outlet while you're here at Blue Pond, and Barberton Brookside Country Club is a glorious golf course nearby. Any time is a wonderful time at Blue Pond if you like the outdoors. Time spent at Turkeyfoot Beach in close proximity to Blue Pond is always great, and Alder Pond is a nearby                  lake that you could have a look at. Camping at Blue Pond is great fun, Tamsin RV Park is a great local campground, and a spree to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is worthwhile. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Brandywine is near Blue Pond; you can run the rapids of Cuyahoga River. The skiing at Boston Mills is magnificent, and if you need a place to stay The Quaker Square Inn at the University of Akron is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful.
