A good close by hotel is Comfort Suites Springfield, and if you came for an overnight stay Forest Lake Camping and Fishing is a great place to camp. Why not camp at Rei Lakes if you're here at Blue Hole, and there's whitewater on Massie's Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Springfield is a glorious location to spend a night or two,       and some nearby water includes Rainbow Run. This site is peerless, just look at all the fun things to do near Blue Hole. The Arboretum Trail is a fine hiking trail close to Blue Hole, and a great place nearby is Clifton Gorge. Through the warm months at Blue Hole temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Blue Hole during the wintertime                  commonly dip into the 10's. On a pleasant day at Blue Hole you can take a hike along the South Gorge Trail, and since you're here at Blue Hole, checking out Steamboat Rock is a must. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Blue Hole you can play some golf at W G C Golf Course; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Miami River. From a rainfall point of view Blue Hole is a pretty common place; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
