There's some flowing water nearby, Blackjack Branch is a stream you can go to while you're here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cedar Grove Trail. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater       of Hocking River, and the scenery at Hidden Lake Dam is striking. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Blackjack Lake has to offer, you can camp at Scenic View Family Campground, and you can stay the night at Caveman Retreat. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Baymont Inn And Suites Logan is a brilliant choice, and hiking along the Chapel Ridge Trail is great fun. Summer at Blackjack Lake comes                  with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Blackjack Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Blackjack Lake in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Lakes?
