A visit to Black Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Pigeon Creek, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Boston Mills is rather near. Why not camp at Tamsin RV Park if you're here at Black Pond, and a cool spot to check out is Wintergreen Ledges. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are really abundant here at Black Pond. Good Park Golf Course is a good golf course nearby.

| | who like lakes. Long Lake is a lake nearby, and camping is available at Camelot Camping Grounds. So much fun stuff in the vicinity of Black Pond, absolutely incredible. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Yellow Creek, and if you need a spot to stay Hilton Akron/Fairlawn is a brilliant choice. A common amount of rain falls here at Black Pond; most of the rain falls all through May; the driest month of the year is January.

You're probably keen on lakes, Barberton Reservoir is one of those close by, and swamps like Copley Swamp are fun to stop at. If you're stopping by Black Pond from Akron, you won't be the only one, and dry warm beds await you at Oakwood
at Park Hill at Fairlawn. If you haven’t been to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area, you should schedule some time for it while you're here, and Brandywine is a tremendous local ski area.
For the period of the long summer
days highs here at Black Pond reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Black Pond tend to be
in the 10's. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Wolf Creek Dam, and a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Cuyahoga River.
