This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Beech Ridge Trail; enjoy a round of golf at Four Bridges Country Club. Black Pond is a good place of typical rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is commonly the driest month.

is available along the Heron Run Trail, and if you've had enough of Black Pond, Middletown Reservoir is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is always a fine experience, and getting to Browns
Run from Black Pond is painless. Why not stop at Black Lake Dam if you're here, and there are plenty of people from Dayton here at Black Pond.
Summertime highs at Black Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down
it falls down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Black Pond temperatures drop to the 10's.
