Lake Copeland is a lake in close proximity, and do take a hike on the Dogwood Trail. This lake is so wonderful. An out of the ordinary thing to stop by right next door to Big Rock Lake is Big Rock Lake Dam; Big Rock Lake is right by the Pine Ridge Trail. A typical amount of rain falls here at Big Rock Lake; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is February. Have a tremendous       hiking adventure along the Vondergreen Trail, and Big Rock Lake is a site with many visitors from East Liverpool-Salem. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows during the winter for Big Rock Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
