Paddling on Little Beaver Creek is so much fun, and hiking along the Dogwood Trail is great fun. Als Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; Big Rock Lake is right by the Pine Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Big Rock Lake, you could visit Cherry Valley Run, and in close proximity to Big Rock Lake you come across a golf course called Copeland Hills       Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Big Rock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Valley Camp Ground is a perfect location for that; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Youngstown (N. Lima/Boardman) is a great spot to spend a night or two. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. Big Rock Lake Dam is not far at all from Big Rock Lake, and a good nearby hotel                  is Quality Inn & Suites. If you came to camp Chaparral Family Campground is a great place to do that; there are plenty of people from East Liverpool-Salem here. Get soaked paddling on Little Beaver Creek, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Vondergreen Trail. Through the warm days of summer here at Big Rock Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and the night is fairly colder of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Big Rock Lake.
