A great deal of rainfall falls at Bethel Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Better Lake; Backbone Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great world it would be. You can run the rapids of Big Indian Creek in the neighborhood of Bethel Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Southwoods Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
