There's so much to do here at Beaver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Flying Finn Family Campground is a tremendous site for that, and get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Little Beaver Creek. For the period of the summertime months here at Beaver Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the       50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Beaver Lake. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Beaver Lake; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. Beaver Lake is right by the Pine Ridge Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Beaver Lake has to offer, you can camp at Terrace Lakes Campground. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn                  Express Hotel & Suites Youngstown (N. Lima/Boardman); you can take a little visit to Beaver Lake Dam since you're here at Beaver Lake. Take a hike on the Dogwood Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Beaver Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
