You don’t have to go far from Beartown Lakes to catch a glimpse of the water at Beartown Lake Dam; camping at Beartown Lakes is nice fun, Woodside Lake Park is a nice local campground. The yearly precipitation here at Beartown Lakes is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along       the Iroquois Trail; lovely scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Brandywine. There's splendid hiking along the Mushers Trail, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Bear Lake is just a very short distance away. You clearly should love Beartown Lakes. The Mohawk Trail offers hiking at its best, and hey, Gotta ski right? Alpine Valley is a great spot to do that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cuyahoga River; there are plenty of folks                  from Akron here at Beartown Lakes. Get dripping wet paddling on Chagrin River - Aurora Branch, and dry warm beds await you at Bertram Inn & Conference Center. High temperatures at Beartown Lakes all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Beartown Lakes. A journey to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful.
