A nice close by hotel is Holiday Inn WILMINGTON, and Baptist Foundation Lake is not the only site close by, Caesar Creek Lake is a close by lake. A great location to camp here at Baptist Foundation Lake is Thousand Trails. There's some flowing water close by, Dutch Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay, and Baptist Foundation Lake is not far at all from Wilmington. The       Beechnut Loop Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Baptist Foundation Lake, and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Wilmington is a fine location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Majestic Springs Golf Course is a good way to kill some time; Baptist Foundation Lake Dam is a lovely place. Near Baptist Foundation Lake you come across the Lakeview Trail which is a good hiking trail, and there's                  whitewater on Second Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Beechwood Acres Camping while you're here at Baptist Foundation Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Caesar Creek. Any time is a tremendous time at Baptist Foundation Lake if you adore the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Dogwood Trail is always a pleasant adventure; a lake nearby is Stokes Lake. During the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Baptist Foundation Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Baptist Foundation Lake dip into the 10's.
