For you golfers we recommend nearby Indian Springs Golf Club, and a great close by hotel is Main Street Hotel. People from Urbana love to come to Baker Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Buckhorn Trail. This lake is so wonderful. London Knights Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Mad River close by. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Baker Lake; Lakeview Trail       is a good local trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Baker Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Oakes Campground. At Baker Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Baker Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Clover Run flows through this region; Baker Lake is right by the Sugar                  Maple Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of Baker Lake. You're most likely into lakes, Fudger Lake is one of those nearby. There's so much to do here at Baker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Valley Campground is a good place for that.
