Near Bailey Lake you find the Sycamore Valley Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Gallipolis-Point Pleasant, Oh is a fine choice. Bailey Lake gets a typical amount       of rain; most of the rain falls during July; the driest of the months is January. All through the days of summer highs here at Bailey Lake get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bailey Lake. Take a little spree to Bowman Run if you're here at Bailey Lake, and a wonderful close by hotel is Gallipolis/ Point Pleasant Super                  8 Motel. The Indian Mound Trail is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Bailey Lake, and Bailey Lake is not far at all from Point Pleasant. This lake is so wonderful.
