Emmons Lake is a great lake in the neighborhood of Ashland Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is fine on Clear Fork of Mohican. The yearly rainfall here at Ashland Reservoir is about average; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Terrace Lake Camp       Ground is a great place to camp; playing golf is lots of fun at Brookside Golf Course. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Ashland Reservoir. Country Stage Campground is a good local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ASHLAND. Take a side tour to Jamison Creek; Clear Fork is a very popular ski area close by. At Ashland Reservoir during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight                  lows drop down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's; night lows through the winter for Ashland Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
