You'll meet a lot of folks from Washington here, and there are great sites to explore along the Paw Paw Trail. Armco Pond Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Armco Pond, and Buckeye Hills Country Club is a fine golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Rattlesnake       Creek near Armco Pond, and don't leave Armco Pond without first going for a hike along the George Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Shady Trails Campground is a brilliant location to camp, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Hillsboro is a great choice. Any time is a great time at Armco Pond if you adore the outdoors. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Lee's Creek, and Woodland Lake Campground is a good local campground. This                  lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Deer Loop Trail is always a splendid adventure, and if you've had enough of Armco Pond, Kornvolt Farms Pond is close by. Armco Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during May while January is generally the driest month. Throughout the warm days of summer at Armco Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.
