Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lee's Creek; you can go for a hike on the Paw Paw Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Deer Loop Trail is always a nice adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Hillsboro Days Inn. Woodland Lake Campground is a nice campground here, and you can take a little tour to Armco Pond Dam since you're here at Armco Pond. Armco Pond is       not far at all from Washington, and don't leave Armco Pond without first going for a hike along the George Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the vicinity of Armco Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Shady Trails Campground is a good place to camp; if you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Buckeye Hills Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Rattlesnake Creek, and if you                  need a place to stay Washington Court House Knights Inn is a great choice. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Armco Pond; most of the rain falls through May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the summer months here at Armco Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
