Armco Pond is right by the George Trail, and you can run the rapids of Lee's Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Armco Pond is not the only place nearby, Hillsboro Reservoir is a nearby lake, and the Paw Paw Trail offers hiking at its best. At Armco Pond through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the wintertime the       highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Armco Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Armco Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Woodland Lake Campground is a great local campground; if you've had enough of Armco Pond, Kornvolt Farms Pond is close by. You'll meet a lot of people from Washington here, and if you need a place to stay Baymont Inn and Suites Washington Court House is a glorious choice. A great                  place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Armco Pond is Rattlesnake Creek, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Buckeye Hills Country Club. Armco Pond is a good place of typical rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. There's so much to do here at Armco Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Trails Campground is a fine site for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Armco Pond; Deer Loop Trail is a delightful local trail. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Armco Pond.
