Not far from Lake Aquilla, you'll hit upon Bass Lake which is a lovely lake, and Ballards Hill is easy to spot from Lake Aquilla. This lake is so wonderful. Baymont Inn and Suites Concord is a good site to get some rest, and Lake Aquilla is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Windrush Hollow Camp is a nice local campground. A fine place to camp here at Lake Aquilla is Windrush Hollow Camp, and close by you discover       the Erie Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are good spots to discover along the Iroquois Trail; dry warm beds await you at Quail Hollow Resort. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Lake Aquilla. Drift down the rapids of Big Creek in a kayak, and Alpine Valley has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Going for a hike on the Beach Trail is always a great adventure, and there are other                  places here than Lake Aquilla, for example Kittredge Pond. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Aquilla. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Aquilla sink into the 10's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lake Aquilla; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains the most while February is frequently the driest month.
