Take a hike on the Wildwood Trail, and a pleasant close by hotel is Comfort Inn Seaman. Twin Islands Campground is a wonderful campground here. If you come at the right time of year, Big Three Mile Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Fort Trail. The George Trail offers hiking at its best; an exciting thing to stop       at right next door to Adams Lake is Adams Lake Dam. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Adams Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's; the overnight is quite cooler of course, generally in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Adams Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Days Inn Maysville is a good place to get some rest, and camping at Adams Lake is splendid fun, Ohio Brush Creek Campground                  is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Adams Lake you'll meet some folks from Maysville for sure, and good skiing awaits you at Spicy Run Mountain.
