At Youngs Lakes during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Youngs Lakes are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Youngs Lakes you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Gloversville; hey, Irish Creek is a fine local       stream. Youngs Lakes usually gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Drift down the rapids of Schoharie Creek in a kayak, and the panorama of Bean Hill is picturesque. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Fox Creek, and Youngs Lakes is a tremendous place to visit for more than                  one day, Hide A Way Camp Sites is a tremendous place to camp nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Fultonville; Loust Park is a tremendous local campground.
