It's always fun to stop by Yanketown Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rondout Creek. This spot rocks, just check out all the amusing things to do near Yanketown Pond. Going for a hike on the Phoenicia Trail is always a nice adventure, and everyone close by loves skiing at Hunter Mountain. | | you obtain a tremendous vista of Acorn Hill from Yanketown Pond, and there are nice places to explore along the Kanape Jeep Trail. At Yanketown Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Pond is Saw Kill River, and dry warm beds await you at Hotel Mountain Brook. People from Kingston love to come to Yanketown Pond, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Willow Trail. Yanketown Pond is located
in the Catskill Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Yanketown Pond? Cooper Lake is in close proximity, and after a long day outdoors Sparrowhawk Affaires is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
Yanketown Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many amusing things in the Catskill
Mountains, just mind-blowing. You could also pop by Kenozia Lake while you're here at Yanketown Pond; it's close by. There's so much to do here at Yanketown Pond that you need to camp here for a while, So-hi Campground is a tremendous
site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Windham Mountain is a fine spot to do that, and you can stay the night at Kenneth L Wilson Camp Site.
