Through the summer months highs here at Wright Lake get into the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while Wright Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Do stop by Bradley Lake close to Wright Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and why not visit Troy Lock since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Ida Lake is a nearby lake that you could       pop by, and the skiing at Willard Mountain is glorious. Wright Lake is not far at all from Albany-Schenectady-Troy, and camping is available at Deer Run Camp Grounds. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Mohawk River; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LATHAM is a nice location to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Clarion Hotel Century House Hotel is a nice location to spend a night or two; get yourself into a kayak and hit Poesten Kill                  River. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Mohawk River is a stream you can stop by during your stay. Just can't get enough of Wright Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Hickory Ski Center is in the neighborhood of Wright Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Dingman's Campgrounds is a great site to camp.
