Woods Lake is a lake worth visiting. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Holmes Lake Outlet, and on a pleasant day you can stop by Johnson Swamp, a swamp close to Woods Lake.
At Woods Lake you can catch a glimpse of Little Cathead Mountain; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. A good deal

This place, Woods Lake, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. Camping at Rainbows End is always a good experience, and a delightful lake like Chase Lake is a splendid location to pop by.

After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny is a good location to spend a night or two, and do stop by Racker Vly, it's a wonderful lake. Through the long summer days at Woods Lake temperatures are commonly in
the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Woods Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. West
Stony Creek is a nice whitewater spot in close proximity to Woods Lake; dry warm beds await you at Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel.
Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains rocks! It's a
magnificent idea to check out Abner Brook, it's in the vicinity of Woods Lake, and if you came to camp Ranch Side Park is a good location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Oregon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and at Woods Lake you always meet someone from Gloversville.
