Woodruff Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid site to stop by near Woodruff Pond is Gunboat Rock, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Southern Tip Trail. After a long day outdoors Pioneer Motel is a delightful site to spend       a night or two, and the West Shore Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Allens Bay right next door to Woodruff Pond is always a wonderful idea, and there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people. Summertime highs at Woodruff Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the                  0's overnight here at Woodruff Pond. Camping is available at Shady Oaks RV Park; you can run the rapids of Saranac River. Yeah, come here to Woodruff Pond for a good time. You'll meet a lot of people from Plattsburgh here, and camping at Cumberland Bay Campsite is always a brilliant experience.
