There's so much to do here at Woodland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alpine Lake Camping Resort is a glorious site for that; what would winter be without some skiing at Hickory Ski Center. Swamps like Fuller Swamp are fun to stop by, and obviously, this is a great area for people who like lakes, Bullhead Pond is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Hudson       River, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Pickerel Pond is just a very short distance away. High temperatures at Woodland Lake through the long summer days are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Woodland Lake are in the 0's.
