    Wolf Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. So many amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Roaring Brook is a stream that you may bump into while here; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Cedar River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Through the summertime, highs usually are in the 70's at Wolf Pond, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, frequently in the  
   50's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Wolf Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Lake Durant is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Wolf Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Hoss's Country Campground is a glorious local campground. There's whitewater on Rock River for all you adrenaline junkies;
 
               hiking is a popular thing to do around Wolf Pond; Sucker Brook Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Wolf Pond, you could also stop at pretty Grassy Pond, and the top of Dun Brook Mountain is easily seen from Wolf Pond.
The annual rain here at Wolf Pond is about average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. A nice close by hotel is Woodlake Inn. Camping at Whispering woods is always a nice experience, and tremendous hiking is available along the Northville Lake Placid Trail.
