Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Wolf Pond. Why not camp at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Paradise Pines while you're here at Wolf Pond, and Econo Lodge Lake Placid is a perfect spot to get some rest. Summer at Wolf Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and winter nights       come with lows in the 0's to Wolf Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Boreas River - Upper, and hiking along the Van Hoevenberg Trail is magnificent fun. Wolf Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not pop by Brace Dam if you're here, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a great choice. Wolf Pond is a good location of typical rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here;                  February on the other hand is the driest. Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a magnificent local campground, and Gore Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is great! There's whitewater on The Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and do take a hike on the Dividing Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Whiteface Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer.
