The beauty of Witchhopple Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is delightful here at Witchhopple Lake, you can go for a hike along the Salmon Lake Trail, and you can run the rapids of Oswegatchie River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. The Norridge Trail is a great hiking trail close to Witchhopple Lake. Witchhopple Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains.

| | Lake. Witchhopple Lake is not far at all from Ogdensburg-Massena; what would winter be without some skiing at McCauley Mountain. There's so much to do here at Witchhopple Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cape Woods Campground is a tremendous site for that; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Big Deer Pond Trail. to spend more than a day at, Robinson's Iga is a tremendous local campground, and not far from Witchhopple Lake you'll hit upon Beaverdam Pond which is a pretty lake.
Witchhopple Lake is a good location of typical precipitation;
August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. A delightful place for whitewater paddling near Witchhopple Lake is Oswegatchie River - East Branch, and here at Witchhopple Lake you can spot
Summit Mountain. For the period of the summertime at Witchhopple Lake highs are mostly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here
at Witchhopple Lake.
If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Don't forget to take a splendid little visit to Gun Harbor Brook, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunset Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two.
