There's splendid hiking along the Comfort Trail; you can run the rapids of Moodna Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Winona Lake. Ramada Inn West Point/Hudson Valley is a great location to get some rest,       and Popolopen Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. Gotta ski! Sterling Forest is a brilliant spot to do that; camping is available at Newburgh/New York City N KOA. While you're here at Winona Lake, you could also stop at striking Brookside Pond, and after a long day outdoors New York City Newburgh Stewart Airport Super 8 Motel is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Gidneytown Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here,                  and at Winona Lake you can distinguish Cronomer Hill. All through the summer months at Winona Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's.
