It's always fun to stop by Wing Pond. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. You can run the rapids of Schroon River in the vicinity of Wing Pond. So many enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. You must pop by Bear Point when you're here at Wing Pond, and Wing Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Pond Campsite is a delightful local campground. This location, the Adirondack Mountains,

| | has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. One of the overriding traits of the surroundings of Wing Pond is Pole Hill; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by West Mountain.
There's so much to do here at Wing Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic View Campground is a good site for that, and going for a hike along the Pharoah Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Some close by water includes | |

Indian Brook, and a lake close by is Indian Pond. If the weather is brilliant here at Wing Pond, you can go for a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Glens Falls here.
A normal amount of
rain falls here at Wing Pond; most of the rain falls during August; January is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Wing Pond. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the
50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Wing Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Long Pond while you're here at Wing Pond; it's nearby, and if you're
here you can take a hike along the Berrymile Pond Trail.
That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Wing Pond has it all. Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a perfect place to get some rest, and the snow is good at Gore
Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Schroon River is a tremendous whitewater spot near Wing Pond, and a fine close by hotel is The Sagamore. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains.
