Get yourself into a kayak and hit Beer Kill River - West Branch, and if you came for an overnight stay Skyway Campgrounds is a delightful spot to camp. Nevele Grande Resort is a great place to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandburg Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area in close proximity to Windsor Lake       has to offer. Skyway Camping Resort is a magnificent campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors VALLEY BROOK INN AND COTTAGES is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Windsor Lake; Seager West Branch Trail is a great local trail. Shawangunk Country Club is a splendid golf course close by, and why not take a refreshing hike                  along the Kanape Jeep Trail. Windsor Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the summer months at Windsor Lake highs are generally in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Windsor Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
