A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Windover Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. The Oregon Trail is a great hiking trail next to Windover Lake. There's so much to do here at Windover Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Smoke Rise Campsites is a nice location for that. This lake       is so wonderful. Black Mt Ski Lodge & Motel is a brilliant site to get some rest; Windover Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Wintergreen Lake Campsite is a perfect local campground. At Windover Lake you can see Edwards Hill, and if you need a place to stay Northwind Lodge is a great choice. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area right next door to Windover Lake has to offer. Some nearby water includes Baker Brook, and                  if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hudson River. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is bountiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. High temperatures at Windover Lake all through the long summer days are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Windover Lake are in the 0's. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains.
