If you need a place to stay Lake       George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a good choice, obviously you could also stop by Chatiemac Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Windover Lake; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Windover Lake generally tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures                  at Windover Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Lake George Resort is a pleasant location to get some rest, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Hudson River. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Oregon Trail, and a quick spree to Baker Brook is undeniably a great idea.
