From a rain point of view Willys Lake is a pretty normal site; all through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the months       of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Willys Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Willys Lake. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. OLD Forge Camping Resort is a great campground nearby. On a pleasant day at Willys Lake you can take a hike along the Post Henderson Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit                  close by Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Beaver River, and lots of people from Ogdensburg-Massena come here. Willys Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. Lakes? Sure, Loon Lake is in close proximity, and you can stay the night at Nicks Lake Campgrounds.
