If you are traveling by, why not stop by Willow Lake. Honness Mountain is painless to spot from Willow Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wappinger Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Pond is a glorious location to camp, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Moodna Creek.

| | that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Willow Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and Pelton Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. A round of golf at nearby Fishkill Golf Course & Driving Range is a brilliant way to kill some time, and do visit Canopus Lake, it's a beautiful lake.

Willow Lake is right by the Stillwell Lake Trail, and why not a little side journey to Clove Creek. Thunder Ridge is a very popular ski area around here; if you need a place to stay Residence Inn By Marriott Fishkill is a perfect
choice. All through the summer at Willow Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Willow Lake dipping down
into the 10's throughout winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Fishkill-Poughkeepsie, and why not camp at Sylvan Lake Beach Park if you're here at Willow Lake.
