So many cool things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too good to be true. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Sacandaga River, and needless to say Coulombe Creek flows through this area. All year is a glorious time in the Adirondack Mountains if you love the outdoors. The Oregon       Trail offers hiking at its best, and while you're here, you could also stop by beautiful Jerry Vly. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn JOHNSTOWN-GLOVERSVILLE, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sucker Brook Trail. Summertime highs at Willis Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and the night is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; during the dark hours                  in the wintertime at Willis Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Willis Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rainbows End, and you can run the rapids of Doig Creek. The annual precipitation here at Willis Lake is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Willis Lake; Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is a perfect local trail, and Corrigan Hill is a peak you can observe from Willis Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. What a location this is for outdoors people.
