If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Wilcox Pond. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Medcalf Acres Campsite is a great local campground, and an afternoon playing golf at Town of Schroon Golf Club is always a pleasure. If you need a place to stay The Sagamore is a good choice, and Wilcox Pond is right by the Spectacle Pond Trail. So much exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not

| | enough time. Some of the water nearby flows, like Alder Creek; here at Wilcox Pond you can distinguish Beaver Meadow Hill.
Wilcox Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Echo Lake Southwoods is a magnificent site to camp, and hiking along the Long Swing Trail is nice fun. needless to say you could also take a look at Goose Pond while you're here; it's not far at all.
There are some perfect whitewater spots on Schroon River. All through the long summer days at Wilcox Pond highs are usually in the
70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Wilcox Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. An average amount of rainfall
falls at Wilcox Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend The Branch,
and Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Wilcox Pond is not the only site close by, Spectacle Pond is a close by lake, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Pharoah Mountain Trail.
