Go to Wickham Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Black Bear Campground is a great local campground, and a lovely lake like Hill Lake is a great spot to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Ramapo River. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHESTER-MONROE-GOSHEN is a great place to spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck;

This lake is so wonderful. The sight of Brimstone Mountain from Wickham Lake is lovely; do check out Walton Lake, it's a scenic lake. High temperatures at Wickham Lake during the summer are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. time. The Kakiat Trail is a good hiking trail close to Wickham Lake; Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a perfect campground nearby.
While you're here at Wickham Lake you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail; the snow
is brilliant at Mt. Peter. There's whitewater on Pequannock River for all you adrenaline junkies. The yearly precipitation here at Wickham Lake is about average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the
driest month is February.
If the weather is delightful here at Wickham Lake, you can go for a hike along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Hickory Hill Golf Course.
