Get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River,       and Whipple Pond is not the only spot close by, Dutcher Pond is a close by lake. Golf can be played at North Shore Golf Club; a lake nearby is Francis Pond. A lot of rainfall falls at Whipple Pond; the month with most of the rain is November while March is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
