Near West Pond you discover a golf course called Park Golf Course, and swamps like Big Egg Marsh in the vicinity of West Pond make for magnificent locations to go to. West Pond is a quite wet place typically with lots of rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. So much fun stuff to do at West Pond, so little time. American Trails West is a splendid campground       nearby, and you are near Grassy Bay while you're here. On a great day it's a delightful idea to spend the day at Canarsie Beach; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites Ozone Park. A splendid spot to take a look at close to West Pond is Long Bar; East Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful.
