Sure, Black Pond is around here, and Days Inn Fredonia is a great site to get some rest. East Mud Lake is a nice lake next to West Mud Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Jamestown-Dunkirk-Fredonia here at West Mud Lake. Cockaigne is a tremendous local ski area, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Dunkirk & Fredonia Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two. All through the long summer days highs here at West Mud Lake get into the 80's; the       night is somewhat chillier of course, typically in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at West Mud Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Woodside Campsites; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Tri County Country Club. You definitely have to have a thing about West Mud Lake. Why not camp at Arkwright Hills Campsite while you're here at West                  Mud Lake.
