West Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Echo Bay is in close proximity to West Lake and is a great place to take a look at, and if you come at the right time of year, Ausable River - West Branch offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Moose Mountain is delightful and can be       distinguished from West Lake, and nearby you locate the Schwartz Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail is always a splendid adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Ausable River - West Branch. Man, is there a load of amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The amount of precipitation that falls at West Lake is close to the national average; the month                  with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at West Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for West Lake tend to be in the 0's. If you're here at West Lake and you like golf, you can go to Craig Wood Golf & Country Club, and a splendid place to camp here at West Lake is Adirondak Loj. You just have to go for the Adirondack Mountains. There is a wonderful hiking trail near West Lake called the McKenzie Pond Trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Mount Pisgah is a delightful place to do that. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly bountiful here at West Lake. If you get bored of West Lake, you could also stop by nearby Loch Bonnie, and why not camp at Whispering Pines Campground since you're here at West Lake. East Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; after a long day outdoors Lakeview Motor Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Falls Brook, and Mirror Lake Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest. You simply must have a thing about West Lake.
