Be careful coming to Wesserlauf Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. A good nearby hotel is Best Western Monticello, and paddling on Delaware River is so much fun. Wesserlauf Pond gets lots of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. During the summer months,       highs usually are in the 70's at Wesserlauf Pond. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Wesserlauf Pond temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Peenpack Trail, and not far from Wesserlauf Pond you'll stumble on Black Lake which is a pretty lake. Wesserlauf Pond is right by the Lost Cabin                  Trail, and skiing at Holiday Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Meyers Pond; if you came to camp Woodstock On The Lake Campgrounds is a pleasant place to do that. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Island Glen Country Club; float down the rapids of Callicoon Creek - East Branch in a kayak. The Schiff Trail offers hiking at its best.
