A day on the slopes of Catamount is just what you need. There's so much to do here at Weigelt Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Taghkanic is a good place
for that. The Elbow Trail offers hiking at its best. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are in fact abundant here at Weigelt Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kinderhook Creek, and if
you're dropping by from Hudson, you won't be the only one.
