For the period of the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Wappinger Lake fall into       the 10's. A fine site to camp here at Wappinger Lake is Sylvan Lake Beach Park, and a wonderful spot for whitewater paddling is Wappinger Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Kingston here at Wappinger Lake. So many amusing things to do at Wappinger Lake, so little time.
