This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Wanoksink has to offer, you can camp at Camp wabenaki, and while here here do check out close by New Sebago Beach. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mt. Peter; good hiking is available along the Pine Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn       Suffern, Ny, and if you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Spook Rock Golf Course. Stay the night at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. All through the warm months highs here at Lake Wanoksink get into the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Wanoksink sink into the 10's. You clearly must fancy Lake Wanoksink. There are swamps                  here too; Green Swamp is close at hand, and brilliant skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest. Go for a hike on the Conklins Crossing, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Old Sebago Beach. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Wanoksink a reasonably wet site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Don't leave Lake Wanoksink without first going for a hike along the Torne Mount Ivy Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River. Little Long Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and Howard Johnson Inn is a nice location to get some rest. Visit Diamond Creek if you're here at Lake Wanoksink, and Breakneck Mountain can be made out from Lake Wanoksink.
