Take a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at New Sebago Beach. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things right next door to Lake Wanoksink. This is a nice vicinity for people who like lakes. Lake Kanawauke is a lake in the vicinity, and a round of golf at nearby Spook Rock Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. All the water falling down from the sky makes       Lake Wanoksink a wet spot; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Get wet paddling on Ramapo River, and good skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest. The Conklins Crossing offers hiking at its best, and Wellesley Inn Hotel is a splendid place to get some rest. Old Sebago Beach is close to Lake Wanoksink if you're in a beach type of mood, and you                  acquire a tremendous vista of Breakneck Mountain from here. Camping is available at Robert Moses, and do explore Diamond Creek since you're here at Lake Wanoksink. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site to camp here at Lake Wanoksink is Camp wabenaki; on a pleasant day you can stop by Green Swamp, a swamp next to Lake Wanoksink. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Inn, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mt. Peter. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Popolopen Creek in a kayak; Lake Wanoksink is right by the Torne Mount Ivy Trail. All through the summertime months highs here at Lake Wanoksink get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
