Camping at Lake Walton is great fun, Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a great local campground, and there's delightful hiking along the Stillwell Lake Trail. If you're here at Lake Walton and you like golf, you can stop at Dogwood Knoll Golf Course, and glorious hiking is available along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Moodna Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot near Lake Walton; what would winter       be without some skiing at Thunder Ridge. A good deal of precipitation falls at Lake Walton; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
