    The beauty of Wakely Pond is reason enough to stop by. Camping at Hoss's Country Campground is always a perfect experience; people from Gloversville love to come here. All year is a fine time in the Adirondack Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. The Northville Lake Placid Trail offers hiking at its best; unsurprisingly Payne Brook flows through this neighborhood. You can take a little trip to Wakely Dam since you're here at Wakely Pond, and drift down the rapids  
   of Raquette River in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Cedar River, and camping is available at Long Lake Camp. Wakely Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains. There's magnificent hiking along the Sucker Brook Trail.
The high level of rainfall makes Wakely Pond a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain
 
               is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the warm months at Wakely Pond highs are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Wakely Pond temperatures drop to the 0's. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Wakely Pond. The view of Metcalf Mountain from Wakely Pond is beautiful; why not take a refreshing hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail.
