Beautiful Vosburg Pond has much to offer visitors. There's glorious hiking along the Taconic Skyline Trail, and Vosburg Pond is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Alps Family Campground is a nice location to camp nearby. The slopes of Jiminy Peak are so inviting nobody can resist, and getting to Horse Heaven Brook from Vosburg Pond is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Vosburg Pond; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. If you're here at Vosburg Pond and you like golf, you can pop by Burden Lake Country Club, and get covered with water paddling on Poesten Kill River. | |

 | this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it.
