Viele Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. The annual precipitation here at Viele Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is August while January is ordinarily the driest month. So many enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schroon River, and Gore Mountain is       a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Here at Viele Pond there are plenty of people from Glens Falls. There's so much to do here at Viele Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Glen-hudson Campsite is a perfect site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are glorious; Gay Pond is a lake that's near Viele Pond, and after a long day outdoors Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. So many cool                  things to do here at Viele Pond, too perfect to be true. Sacandaga River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by; if you came to camp Queen Village Camp Ground is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably hooked on lakes, Stewart Lake is one of those nearby. West Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff, and Black Spruce Mountain is a peak you can see from Viele Pond. Summertime at Viele Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Viele Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. This spot, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things.
